Some of you asked me to show what I'll wear for new years. Even
though it's right around the corner - I'm not sure yet. I have two
dresses I'm making my mind up about. Anyway, I thought I'd do a
little post on new years. My opinion anyway.
Picture 1 - Hair: Personally I don't like those
really polished, royal hairdos. Even though it's a big party you
should still look like yourself at your best, not some crazy doll.
Hairdo-wise I'd go for something like in the 1st photo - a
milksmaid braid, tight ponytail, loose hair with beachy curls or a
messy bun.
Picture 2 - Makeup: I think I'll go all in with my
eye makeup on new years. Maybe a smokey eye either in silver or
golden tones like in the picture. But I wont wear fake lashes
though, I can't put them on without it looking like sh*t. Also
nice, filled in brows are a good way to frame your face, I
think.
Picture 3 - Dress (black): Black is always safe for parties,
isn't it? Anyway, here's some nice, black dresses (and one skirt).
Personally I'd wear a short dress because I'm not very tall so I
kind of drown in maxi dresses. Fun fabrics (like lace ex) or
different cuts (like on shoulder dresses) makes a black dress
exiting in my opinion. I think statement jewelry can also spice up

Picture 4 - Dress (sequin): I think if you really
want tp dress up, new years is the perfect occation. So a crazy
sequin dress, skirt or top is every bit as appropriate as a black
dress. Maybe if you go for a sequin dress you should keep your
makeup a bit subtle to make sure not to look like a dragqueen.
